The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, January 22 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will make love.
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will ask her father to accept Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) into the family. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gave them his blessing. And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will continue to reconnect.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will implore her daughter to sit with her at Society. But Victoria will say she’s really busy. “You’re trying to avoid me and I think I know why,” Nikki will say. She’ll tell Victoria she’s tired of people tiptoeing around her, worried she might take a drink. So, Victoria will sit down and tell Nikki she’s upset with Victor for summoning Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) to the ranch. But Nikki will say sometimes the past sneaks up on you. “You both assume I’m just going to swoon into Cole’s arms?” Victoria will ask. “It’s offensive.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victoria Wants Victor To Accept Claire
At Newman, Victor will tell Adam if he and Nick continue to bury their animosities, they’ll move mountains together. Adam will say he realizes the co-CEO job is a temporary gig. Once Victoria comes back someone will be out. “Your place in my company is secure,” Victor will say. Then Adam will get a text and Victor will guess it’s from Sally. He’ll admit he’s still not keen on her but he’ll say the heart wants what the heart wants and he’ll honor that.
After Adam leaves, Victoria will show up and ask Victor to leave Cole alone. Victor will roll his eyes but he’ll acquiesce. “There’s one more thing, when Claire recovers and she’s released, I want you to accept her into the Newman family,” Victoria will add. Victor will tell her not to forget that Claire was fooling them all. “She was taught by a master.” However, Victoria will ask him to have a little faith. So, Victor will say when and if she gets ahold of her demons and becomes a true daughter to Victoria, he’ll accept Claire as a Newman.
At Crimson Lights, Nick will run into Sally. They’ll discuss Sharon’s launch party and Nick will say he guesses Adam taking her with him wasn’t just a casual date. “It looks like you two are giving your relationship another shot.” So, Sally will admit they’re reconnecting. “Are you happy?” Nick will ask and she’ll shake her head yes. “Then I’m happy for you, I’m really pulling for you two this time.” She’ll hug him and Sharon will walk out to the counter after Sally leaves. “You’re hurting more than you’re letting on,” she’ll say to Nick.
But Nick will say he’s fine. He just wants Sally to be happy. Nick will also say things are pretty perfect right now. He’s glad he’s back at Newman and he’s enjoying being co-CEO with his brother. “The idea of falling in love again, just sounds exhausting.” Sharon will say it took them a long time to find themselves, but look at them now. “Have lunch with me,” Nick will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Has Some Good News
Meanwhile, Adam will meet Sally at Society. “Victor practically gave us his blessing,” he’ll tell her and Sally will be surprised. They’ll kiss and then Nick and Sharon will walk in and say hello. As Nick and Sharon walk away, Adam will say that went well. “Do you believe in destiny?” he’ll ask Sally, as he stares at Nick and Sharon laughing at their table.
Finally, Heather will arrive at Daniel’s place, at his invitation. He’ll bring up how she dropped the “L bomb” on him and then just left. “You can understand my confusion right?” he’ll add. But Heather will tell him she meant it, she’s falling in love with him again. However, Daniel will remind her he’s with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). So, Heather will ask if they’d have a chance if he wasn’t. She’ll tell him she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt, but that doesn’t mean she won’t fight for her family.
Then she’ll move closer to Daniel and take his hand in hers. “I want us back,” Heather will say. “What if our story isn’t over? What if we could recapture what we had?” But Daniel will move away from her and remind Heather he hurt her badly. “Maybe this is our second chance,” she’ll respond. Heather will say he knows where she stands and he can tell her to leave. “But I don’t think you want me to leave, do you?” And he’ll answer Heather by pulling her into a kiss. Then they’ll move into the bedroom and make love.
